St Margaret of Antioch Lower Halstow

St Margaret of Antioch is a much loved and well used 11^th century village church, full of history, situated on the banks of the river Medway.

A history of the village and church are available in the church. Our ancient font has been in use for over 800 years, and still in regular use today. There are some wall paintings and other item of historical significance. 

We are a friendly worship community, who like to make our visitors very welcome as they come to share with us in the intimacy of this ancient place of worship. We offer a range of different services, ranging from a reflective traditional Book of Common Prayer Communion to informal family-oriented services suitable for all ages with activities for children. In particular our 'Family Time' Service (on the 2^nd and 4^th Sunday each month) is designed for those starting to explore what the Christian faith is all about in a relaxed setting. Whether you are a regular in church or not, we extend a warm welcome to you.

We hold produce sales through the summer and autumn.
