Welcome to The Six Benefice
We are a group of six Church of England village parishes in North Kent, in the countryside between Sittingbourne and Rainham with seven diverse congregations. We offer different flavours of traditional and contemporary worship across the different congregations in our benefice in Hartlip, Iwade, Lower Halstow, Newington, Stockbury, Upchurch as well as at 'Uplift' meeting in Upchurch Village Hall. St Mary Magdalene Stockbury is Saturday 20th at 4.30pm
St Margaret's Lower Halstow is on Sunday 21st at 3pm
All Saints Iwade is on Sunday 21st at 4.30pm
St Michael's Hartlip is on Sunday 21st at 5pm
St Mary's Newington is on Sunday 21st at 6.30pm
St Mary's Upchurch is on Christmas Eve at 7pm.
There are crib services on Christmas Eve at
St Margaret's Lower Halstow at 3.30pm
St Michael's Hartlip at 4pm
St Mary's Newington at 4pm
St Mary's Upchurch at 4pm.
If you crave a bit of peace in a quiet place, St Margaret's Lower Halstow has a
Quiet Christmas, open doors, between 1 and 3pm on Christmas Eve.
And at 11.30pm on Christmas Eve we celebrate Midnight Communion at

We seek to be 'the people who BLESS,' seeking to embody Jesus in our daily lives sharing by our presence, service and words the Lord's transforming love and grace. We see church as a community we belong to, not just a place we go to.
Yet we recognise that each village's ancient building speaks of the Lord's steadfast, faithful presence through the challenging times of life. They speak of the Lord's promise to us: 'I am with you always'.
