Volunteer Swale Awards
The Well can only happen because of the generous contribution of time and talents of a large
The Well team
team of volunteers.  Recently The Well was shortlisted for an award from Swale Borough Council for the Voluntary Project of the Year 2018.  Four members of The Well team atte
nded the event held at The Barnyard, Upchurch to receive the framed award on behalf of the entire team.  The event showcased the amazing breadth of voluntary work throughout Swale, from youngsters helping at Milton Country Park, the Litter Angels of Queenborough, Sittingbourne Blind Fellowship Club, the RNLI volunteers to name but a few.
So, why not come along to The Well either on your own or bring a friend, no need to book.  And no dishes to wash, unless of course, you care to become a volunteer yourself!

Would you like to join the friendly team of helpers at The Well?
Charlotte serving teaFeeding anything up to 90 or so people a home-cooked meal, we are always glad of new helpers. Whether you've experienced the hospitality of The Well and would like to help others to enjoy it, or if you are looking for a way to meet new people while doing something worthwhile, we would love to hear from you.

We need people there on the day to meet and chat, others to set up and clear away; to help with children’s activities, cooking, shopping and planning.

You can offer to help as much or as little as you are able.  All offers are welcome.
