St Mary the Virgin Newington
St Mary's has been the home to a worshipping community from the village and the surrounding area for nearly 1000 years. The building is usually open during daylight hours.
We seek to offer a warm welcome to anyone and everyone. We have a variety of services offering a mix of contemporary and more traditional styles of worship.
The church is also the home to the Cornerstone cafe once a month, on the third Thursday, between 9.30am and midday. All are welcome.
We hold concerts periodically.
We have an active team of bellringers, with youngsters and adults learning this ancient craft. Practice night is a Monday, and visitors are welcome.
