*Youth Groups Please keep the new youth groups in Iwade and Newington in your prayers - especially Iwade, which begins this week. Pray for Colin and Carol Galvin, who are leading it, and for the other adult helpers.
*Sermon podcast If you missed the 6-church service last Sunday and would like to hear the sermon, on "Greedy eyes and Generous eyes", it's available on the website here or by following the links on the home page.
*Quench This Friday, 3 September, an opportunity to share news and faith at the Rose & Crown pub in Hartlip, between 7:30-9:30.
*The Well A chance for anyone already involved, wanting to be involved, or wondering whether to be involved in The Well to come and find out more. We will meet at 7:30 on Monday 6 September at The Vicarage, Church Lane, Newington (not in the Village Hall as previously advertised). *Stockbury Harvest Fete This year taking place in the Village Hall from 2:30 on Saturday 11 September, Stockbury. All very welcome.
*Sponsored Bike Ride The Friends of Kent Churches (www.friendsofkentchurches.co.uk) are organising their annual sponsored bike ride, which will include most of our churches on Saturday 11 September . *Produce Sale Stock up for winter with jam, honey, chutney, fruit and veg and loads of other local produce at Lower Halstow church on Saturday 18 Sept from 10:0-12:30
*Six@Six The next 6@6 service will be on Sunday 19th September at 6:00pm. Canon Alan will preach on Mark's gospel, and the whole service will be designed to help us engage with what is probably the earliest book in the New Testament. Creative prayer, uplifting music and excellent home made cake.
